As the regiment processed between Trafalgar Square and Buckingham Palace, the gray horse trotted up the ranks with no rider in the saddle. Witness footage shows the saddle slipped low beneath the horse's belly, a yellow flag appearing caught under the girth and a large tassel near the bit. The animal weaved between mounts and spooked others until mounted police intervened and guided it to a corner by a fence.
