The theft and the unexpected return

Sagehorn says her purse was stolen the evening of April 24 while parked on Lake Hollywood Drive during a hike to the Wisdom Tree. She returned about an hour later to find the rear passenger window smashed and her wallet—containing ID, credit and health insurance cards, a library card and personal items—gone. She filed a police report, disputed transactions and ordered a replacement license.
